Blue Star Ferries obtains the Silver Award in the category Best Tourism & Travel Mobile Application at this year’s Greek App Awards 2015 of Ethos Events.
Specifically, the award concerns the “Blue Star Islands” application, created and developed by MSPS, whose ultimate goal is to highlight the company’s destinations, increase tourists’ arrival and contribute to the local community of each island.
Moreover, the application provides the best possible service to travelers, since the user can learn a lot about potential destinations throughout the four sections of the application (General information, Beaches, Flavors and Sightseeing). It also enables users to find their precise location on a map using geo-location, to log on Facebook and to Live Chat.
It is worth mentioning that the application is considered one of the most dominant applications among the category without any investment in promotional budget, while 14,822 users have already downloaded the application from iOS and Android devices.
The “Blue Star Island” application is free and available on iPhone Appstore in Greek language, for iPhones, iPad and for Android Smartphones & Tablets.
The application’s content, both text layer and photographic material,is provided by the Experience Greece team , a specialized journalist team who visited each Blue Star Ferries’ destination separately.The development is designed and created by MSPS integrated marketing and sales services agency.
